This home is set atop Kenmure Country Club in Flat Rock, NC and has gorgeous vista views from the back of the house. It was typical of the development and rather dated with some construction issues.

We redesigned the layout and created a more open floor plan with some key rustic touches. The cabinets were reused and refinished along with structural footers added below the columns and steel beams added for support. These engineered features where then boxed in with wooden beams.

The windows were updated and improved to highlight the grand views in the back of the home. Natural materials and colors were leveraged to turn this traditional home gracefully, into a transitional.
